Blogs4Bauer Challenge

If you aren't "jacked" for tonight's episode of 24, then you need some serious help. If your politics lean left, the previews talk about Jack Bauer taking down a president. If your politics lean right, it looks like a lot of people will be displaying their second amendment rights tonight.

Will Jack Bauer take down President Logan and possibly another helicopter to boot? Will Audrey get killed off (finally)? Check in to Blogs4Bauer from the hours of 9pm to 10pm for the answers and later for VtheK's exclusive TIVO blogging.
Blogs4Bauer Challenge - Guess tonight's Body Count

It could be another banner hour for the Jack Bauer Kill Counter. Make your prediction on how many people will join the kill counter in the comments section below. Last week, Phil guessed 350 kills for Episode 17. Phil, you do know that Jack does not carry around tactical nukes in his manpurse, go easy.

There's gonna be a twist tonight that will screw Jack's day just a little more. Come on, ya just know it's comin'....

And the AOD(Angel of Death) will have 9 more COJ's(Casualties of Jack) to transport south for the winter.

Oh our hero will take down this scumbag -- probably with a lot of help from Martha.

I'll not be here tonight, but watching and getting my recap ready for tomorrow -- but I'll be here after it's over.

Body count? Tonight just 1 -- wonder who it will be?

8 bodies!!

unless Tyler live blogs and then it will be 2 kills.

That should be a rule. If Tyler live blogs, then your guess can be cut in half.

RFTR said...

18 kills.

Most boring episode ever if Tyler liveblogs.

And come on, The Man. We all know that no lefties read this blog...

well, I'm a 'lefty' (not just left-handed); for some reason I'm channeling the number '37', so that's my prediction....

I'm going to go with 11 KIA this hour. Though I will have to seriously scale back that number if you know who actually blogs this episode (make it 3 KIA and no action until 54 minutes into the hour...

First of all...

(Well, first of all:
<---- turning to FOX right now...)

Second of all:
Thanks for adding my blog to the 'Blogs 4 Bauer' blogroll... This is one of the more intriguing - and unique - rolls that my weblog has been on.

Today (now, to be precise) is the first time - since that season opener - that I will have the opportunity to watch an episode of the current season. I've in the [unfortunate at times] situation of not having a television in my room, on campus. (I guess that will be one advantage, if I decide to live at home next semester, and commute to classes.)

I was glad, looking through Wikipedia the other day, to see that their 24-related encyclopedia articles now include individual articles for each episode - here's that listing.

In skimming (perhaps here), I was surprised to discover that President Logan is now one of the bad guys.

I was hoping to have read the Wikipedia article on each episode, before tonight's program.

Because I've kind of been in 24-mode, during the past several days (two all-nighters in a row!), and have been a little sick as well, that wasn't feasible. But at least it's all there, easily accessible.

Keep up the good work, at this weblog.

You just knew Heller would try to pull a Rumsfeld and do things his own way. Now the previews next week show him getting taken out by a sniper. Hey SecDef: if Tony frakkin' Almeida can get whacked, then no one from the previous season(s) is safe...except for Audrey and her deflector nose. You could generate a warp field for the Enterprise with that thing.

Moral: when given a choice between doing it your way and Jack Bauer's way, do whatever Jack says....AND DO IT NOW! NOW!!!!!

If I was Jack, I would have called my answering machine as soon as I got a hold of the tape. It would go something like this:

[wayne] Holy Shit Jack, we got the tape that implicates President Logsn!!!

[jack] Totally! It's not safe for us, I'm going to upload it to a secure location.

*** Jack Whips out his Treo and calls home ***

[Answering machine] "Hello, [lound explosion sounds] you've reached the voicemail of Jack Bauer, I am currently away from my phone right now killing terrorist bastards, but your call *is* important [shots heard in the background] to me, so please leave a message at the sound of the tone!"

[Jack] --- presses play on the recorded --- [president logan's voice] I never auhorized you to kill president palmer ***wink*** wink*** [robocop] Well you winked at me when you said that. [logan] did now! [robocop] did too!

[Jack] Thank god this is now on my answering machine!
